Memet Yazici
Memet is the Managing Partner of TRPE. Based in Istanbul, Memet focuses on technology, healthcare and electrification. He also acts as a Senior Managing Director at Manhattan Venture Partners.
Memet holds a B.S. degree in Engineering from Bogazici University in Istanbul and an MBA degree from University of Rochester, Simon Business School.
Devrim Sönmez
Devrim is an Advisor of TRPE focused on the Information Technology sector and is based in London, UK. He also serves as the Managing Director of iExpandUK. Previously Devrim held leadership roles at Turkey's leading ICT services platform and was an advisor to multiple ICT crossborder transactions. Devrim teaches at Oxford University with a focus on IoT, Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity.
Mr. Sönmez holds B.S. in Mathematics from Middle East Technical University.
Refiye Yazici
Refiye is a Senior Advisor of TRPE and was most recently the Chairperson of the board of Pisano. Based in Istanbul, she is responsible for financial and operational analysis. She has extensive experience in financial and operational management with TetraLaval Group and Eczacıbaşı.
Refiye holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Bogazici University in Istanbul.
Esmen Sari
Esmen is a Partner of TRPE based in New York, NY. Esmen has extensive experience in fintech, digital transformation, management consulting and strategy. Prior to TRPE, Esmen was a member of the leadership team at QNB Finansbank in Istanbul and as well as an extensive consulting career with Mercer and Oliver Wyman in New York.
Esmen received MS degrees from Columbia University in Financial Engineering and from Bogazici University in Industrial Engineering. She is graduate of Middle East Technical University with a BS degree in Industrial Engineering.
Meriç Bıçakçıoglu
Meriç is an Advisor of TRPE and is currently supporting companies in establishing or utilizing innovation capabilities, corporate and social entrepreneurship. Meriç has extensive experience in agriculture, education and technology sectors both as an entrepreneur as well as a due diligence professional.
Mr. Bıçakçıoglu holds a B.A. degree in Education from Middle East Technical University, an MBA degree from the University of Nottingham and a PhD from Istanbul Bilgi University.
